Meet the iNOW Racing Team: Sandra Dänzer

We are proud to have a colourful mix of talented, ambitious and strong-willed athletes in the iNOW Racing Team. As a triathlete, you are on your own in competition, but with the iNOW Racing Team we promote team spirit. Because sport is even more fun as a team! Today we introduce you to Sandra Dänzer.

Sandra is a triathlete through and through, although she only discovered this sport later. She is now a 3-time age group world champion. She celebrated her last success in Hawaii in October 2023 when she secured the title in the age category - as she did in 2022 and 2015. Sandra combines an impressive sports workload of between 15-20 hours per week with a 65% job. This requires good organisation - and support from her husband Beat Dänzer. This year's highlight was undoubtedly the Ironman Thun. Although the day didn't quite go to plan, Sandra was carried to the finish line by the home crowd. She missed the podium by just 19 seconds, but she was delighted to win the age group and Swiss championship title. In addition to her success in Thun, Sandra brought home the following podium places.

• 2nd place IRONMAN Kraichgau
