For some years now, there has been talk of a bamboo boom in textile production. This is mainly because the garment industry is criticised for being one of the biggest polluters. Water wastage and the overproduction of textile waste are among the biggest problems.<\/p>\n

But environmentalists are also justifiably focusing on manufacturing. This is why the call for recycling and fabrics made from sustainable materials is becoming louder and louder.<\/p>\n

Textiles made from bamboo fabric are among these new fabrics. This is despite the fact that the manufacturing process is also questioned here. The big advantage, however, is that bamboo can be harvested naturally as a basic material in almost all areas of the world.<\/p>\n

The hardy plant is consistently undemanding and resilient. It conserves global water resources and helps to balance the CO2 budget. Above all, bamboo amazes with its enormous growth rate and therefore does not need to be planted artificially.<\/p>\n

Because bamboo is one of the fastest renewable resources on earth, there is often no need for costly transport of raw materials. This is because the wood can be cut at the place of processing. This is why bamboo is the ideal basis for the production of sustainable fabrics for the textile industry.<\/p>\n

At iNOW, we use the popular bamboo cellulose fabric for our MTB Classic Jersey, among other things. The advantages are obvious: the bamboo material is considered to be very comfortable, wrinkle-resistant, heat-regulating, antibacterial - and therefore hardly susceptible to odours.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
